Sorry For All the Palin Posts–It’s just too good

This time Governor Palin was videotaped at a church saying (roughly) that they should pray to god for a new pipeline, and Iraq is a task from god.  No Kidding

I can’t believe how gentle the Dems are being on Palin, considering how Ken Starr published hundreds of pages to the entire world about Bill Clinton’s sexual escapades–in detail! that matter was clearly between Hill and Bill. It’s lunacy.

What bothers me most as a mother (I have a special needs child as well), is that I know it’s impossible to raise five kids, including one with special needs, and do it well if you don’t have the time. But she claims “family values.” (Britney Spears parents were crucified in the press when Jamie Lynn got pregnant…) I’m curious as to who is actually spending time with her kids. Just having children doesn’t make you a good mom anymore than having a set of golf clubs makes you a good golfer.

She is definitely a “character,” and by that I mean compelling, pretty and “zany.” Better suited for a TV reality show. And I dislike the fact she was a poor student at a party school—apparently we should tell our girls to forget law school or other graduate degrees and participate in beauty pageants instead. If she weren’t so attractive, she’d never be the vp candidate.

And her stance on gays alone is creepy–she seems to think she knows God’s intentions. And using her son as a prop for her political message is reprehensible and also creepy. It’s the same way she used her daughter’s pregnancy to promote her pro-life stance–along with her Down Syndrome son. (Aren’t I great? My baby has Down’s, my daughter’s pregnant, my son is going to war but my life is so unphased by it all, I decided to run for vice-president at this very time!) There is something so inhuman about her, she could have been dreamed up by some media team–Wag the Dog syndrome.
